I have a job offer in Pune but my family is in Ranchi. Is this the right year to move?
The year works — the first three months don’t. Mercury rules your tenth house and is running its own sub-period until March, which tends to settle work where it already is rather than move it. From April, Jupiter transits your fourth house, and that is the part of the chart a change of home actually sits in. On the family side, nothing here forces distance: your fourth house is intact and Ranchi stays reachable. If the offer can wait until April, take it then.
